Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for technical enthusiasts who have

• Vast experience with Python (Django or Flask or FastAPI)
• CICD Experience
• Back end API experience
• Vast experience with Database design and management (ideally PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Redis or MQ
• Experience with Celery
• Hands-on experience experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, SNS, ALB, DynamoDB) and ideally Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker

We are looking for a techie who is curious and passionate about our product and its code and keen to continuously learn and grow their capabilities and knowledge in the ever evolving landscape of tools, technologies, resources and trends.

We are looking for a driven, organised person that is eager to achieve deadlines while ensuring attention to detail.

Someone who is excited to design awesome, easy to understand code on multiple platforms. That enjoys looking at the detail, is organised and an outstanding analytical thinker.

Goals you'll achieve in your first year at Stockspot

Reporting to our Lead Engineer and working closely across our engineering and product team you will achieve the following:

• Create and iterate market leading digital elements in a growth fintech environment.
• Be part of a unique opportunity to develop & deliver a new financial product to the market.
• Work on transforming and iterating our applications for scale and to stay ahead of the pack.
